Work included the establishment of ground control for aerial mapping, GPS surveys for the establishment of a project mapping projection and geodetic coordinate system, the preparation of survey control plans, title research of adjoining properties along the project corridor (500 +/- parcels) and the completion of boundary surveys to determine existing right-of-way limits for a 17.8 mile light rail corridor. Also prepared the right-of-way plan base maps which were utilized by RTD / CDOT to acquire right-of-way for the project.
